First Bath at Home

Merrick’s very first bath at the Hospital did not go well. At one point during the sponge bath he stopped breathing and the nurse had to stop and pick him up (all on tape). I was a wreck and hated that I couldn’t do anything to help as I was still stuck in the bed and not very mobile yet.

Merrick HATES to be cold!

I was very excited to give Merrick a bath at home. Grandma Julie had bought him a nice spa tub with jets and all. Let’s just say we didn’t get many pictures of this bath either; he hated it! We found out fast that Merrick dislikes being cold and wet in a big way. He liked being wrapped up after however so I was able to get lots of good pictures then.

FUN FACT: His room was all decorated in the number 10...later we would find out that his birthday would be on the 10th.
