BABY BUMP

Time is moving slowly,
The day is almost here.
The anxiety and joy is building up,
For my baby boy will soon appear.
I can't wait to see your smiling face,
And hold your little hand.
Just then I'll know deep inside
that you’re my little man.
I have so much to share with
you day after day.
And to you my son I will give my love
in each and every way.

For the most part I really enjoyed seeing the changes over the 40 weeks of pregnancy! Looking at these pictures still makes me smile.
40 Weeks - Minutes Prior to DELIVERY!
This was at the hospital just minutes before having baby Merrick. I went into the bathroom to dress down into my gown and as I caught a glimps of myself in the mirror, I realised that that was the last time I would see my baby bump. I would soon have my little man in my arms. I was taken over by emotion and needed one last picture.
35 Weeks
Ready to pop! Just look at that bellybutton. Joey would make fun of me and say that once it popped the bun was done. I would say we were close in this picture.
I look at these pictures now and can't help but miss my baby bump and the little kicks and flutters from inside.
30 Weeks
This had to be my favorite time during my pregnancy. I was over the morning sickness, and yet I wasn't so big that I was overly uncomfortable (yet). Just look how cute that bump was!
During this time I was really busy, not only was I getting ready for my first child but also with the move, packing, cleaning, and remodeling. I was also preparing myself and clients for my maternity leave at work. It was really setting in that life was changing!
One of my favorite comments was made by Ray Smith at my work - Ray had not been informed of my pregnancy and asked if I had been gaining weight (I guess he thought that was better than asking out-right if I was prego). As the weeks went on he would hold out his arms as I walked by - this was "incase I was to fall forward". Lol.
28 Weeks
Life got crazy and morning sickness came and went and the little boy in me continued to grow. I was in Las Vegas for 10 days for work and during that time I swear my belly doubled in size - this was me sending Joey a picture of his growing baby.
17 Weeks
At 17 weeks my belly continued to grow. I decided to do a little shopping and purchased my first maternity shirts to accentuate my baby bump!
15 Weeks
Before 15 weeks I had all the signs of early pregnancy, however I didn't have any physical signs yet. Around 15 weeks I started to notice my belly getting bigger. I HAVE A BABY BUMP! I was so thrilled you can't even imagine - well, if you've had a baby you probably can. I spent many hours trying on different outfits and checking out my changing body in the mirror. As much as I loved seeing the changes day after day, it wasn't long before I started to feel chubby - I wanted others to notice my changes as well.
