Due to a certain small kitchen fire...the one that haunts my dreams...I have always been reluctant to make anything that requires a deep frying process. Thanks to my friend Cassie and our weekly dinner night, I was encouraged to give it a try and make all kinds of random fried foods. I was incredible proud of my bravery even though it was in someone else’s home….and I was constantly under supervision.
Since the tempura adventure, I have made fried stuffed mushrooms and sweet and sour chicken. My mom would be proud!!!
It must have been good because immediately following dinner Joey passed out on the couch!
One at a time....I didn't want to get toooo crazy!!! 
Cassie did make dinner that night...don't think that we just ate an assortment of fried foods. Thanks Cassie you are awesome!!
